Aftercare

POWDER BROWS AFTERCARE:

Day 1 (day of the procedure): Very gently use a dampened cotton pad or clean your brows with lukewarm water and lightly pat dry (do not use any cleansers, soaps, or heavy creams).

Do not touch your brows with your fingertips.

Day 2-4: you will experience a darkening of the brow and some tightness while the scabbing process begins.

Day 5-14: you may be experiencing some light flaking and itching as the skin heals, do not scratch or pick at the area. Let this skin naturally exfoliate and settle. You may experience a lightening of the color or patchiness that is totally normal.

We require a touch-up appointment so that we can make sure you are getting the best results possible.

1. No eyebrow makeup for 2 weeks.
2. No scratching or removal of scabs, dry skin/flakiness. This can result in loss of color.
3. No direct water!!! On the brow tattoo and the use of cleansers, soaps, and heavy creams. (wash around the areas using a cleaning cloth)
4. No activities that will cause sweating for 10 days.
5. No swimming pools, hot tubs for 14 days.
6. No UV exposure (including tanning booths).
7. No exfoliants, retinol acids, glycolic acids, and alpha-hydroxy acids on the area for 30 days after the appointment (causes premature fading).
8. No massages, facials, or skin treatments.
9. Threading, waxing, or hair removal products.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Brows may appear reddish and/or darker in color for the first week- this is temporary.

Sometimes, the tattoo will appear lighter after the dead skin comes off and the color will bloom back to the surface later on.

Final results from each session will appear clearly after about 4 weeks, then it will be time for your follow-up!

What to expect at the second appt? We will assess your results and your skin's reaction to the process, tweak and adjust anything that's needed (like- lighter spots), and make sure the color, texture, and shape look amazing overall!
Repeat the same exact aftercare post-second session

LIP BLUSH:

You will be wiping your lips every hour throughout the day after the treatment.

Apply the aftercare that is given to you by your technician, in a thin layer after cleaning. Make sure your hands are clean before you touch your lips and wash them. Repeat as much as needed. You will continue this for 5 days minimum. Please remember this is a new tattoo and should be cared for like an open wound. Do not over-saturate with the healing balm and do not let the lips get too dried out either.

1. No application of any lip makeup for 1 week other than the healing balm that is given to you.
2. No scratching, picking, or licking of dry skin or flakiness.

3. No kissing

11. No massages, facials, or skin treatments for 5 days.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Day 1: Your skin will start slowly releasing lymph fluid right after your procedure. This is a common healing process for our bodies! 30 minutes after your appointment and throughout the first day of the procedure, keep wiping your lips with antiseptic wipes provided or cotton rounds and lukewarm water to minimize scabbing. Keep applying the ointment.
The color will look the most vibrant today.

Day 2: The lips may still be a little swollen today. Make sure you keep them moisturized.

Day 3-7: Keep moisturizing with A&D as needed! Some light flaking or peeling may occur- this is normal. Do not pick on any dry skin. After a few weeks: you will notice the actual healed results from your session

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Some puffiness is normal for right after and the following couple of days. Unless one has extremely sensitive eyes and they experience more than the usual puffiness or redness, it shouldn't affect normal day-to-day activities.

We recommend on a week long of dry heal. Clearly, our eyes are naturally wet but just refrain from soaking your eyes area in water (shower/ bath/ swimming), avoid saunas, wearing eye makeup, applying moisturizer, etc.

Repeat the same exact aftercare post second session
